Question 1 of 18
A General Power of Attorney gives someone authority to act on your behalf for financial and legal matters. However, this version automatically ends if you become mentally incapacitated. It is intended for temporary or specific-purpose use. If you want a document that continues to work even if you become incapacitated, you need a Durable Power of Attorney instead.
